Hi! I've been involved in graphics and design for many years from desktop publishing to interior design. Now I'm a "mature" baby boomer and have made the transition from printer's ink to electrons with relative ease - and believe me the electrons are just as addictive as the ink!
Working from home, and with over 30 years' experience in both the private and public sector, I currently run The Little Typing Company - an efficient typing service offering desktop publishing for the small business, affordable typing/transcription service to students/undergraduates and a specialist service to authors and publishers wishing to get their manuscripts typed ready for publication.
I also offer an international service and due to the current £/Euro exchange rate, international companies benefit by doing business with us due to the low value of the local currency.
Initiative, commitment to quality and customer service has allowed me to run my business successfully for just over 2 years.
The ADip(IntDes) after my name means I have also been awarded an Associate Diploma in Interior Design - designing interiors is not too dissimilar to designing on the web - design is an international language which communicates subtle or overt messages for the end user.
When it works seamlessly, it enhances life and makes things work better unconsciously!
