2. Cancellation
If you decide to cancel your request once work has started, you will be charged for the work undertaken on your behalf so far.
3. Proof Reading
Final responsibility for proof reading errors in any completed assignment rests with the client. Whilst I take every care to ensure accurate work, I accept no responsibility for errors found after submission to you, but will gladly correct any errors found within a reasonable timescale. If errors are found in any work undertaken, they will be rectified free of charge, but must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of completed work.
4. Copywright/Plagiarism Laws
I am not responsible for the end use of any document produced or edited by The Little Typing Company. Clients are solely responsible for its appropriate use, including abiding by any copywright laws, plagiarism laws and publishing requirements. I am also not responsible for the content of any document supplied. Clients should not pass off plagiarised material as their own original work. I will assume no responsibility for any plagiarised material supplied by a client and reserve the right to return the work should I become aware of such inappropriate use. I retain the right to reject work for any client which involves material I find to be illegal, immoral or objectionable.
5. Back-up Copies
Back-up copies of client files are kept for a period of six months only. After that time they will be deleted, unless the client specifically requests copies to be kept for a longer period. It is therefore suggested that the client makes their own back-up copy of any work completed by me.
6. Delivery/Postage Costs
All work will be returned to you by Royal Mail recorded delivery and any postage costs incurred by The Little Typing Company will be recharged to you on your invoice. I advise all clients that original documents should be sent via a traceable method of delivery such as Royal Mail special delivery or recorded delivery.
7. Confidentiality
I acknowledge that it is of paramount importance that I operate within the boundaries of professional and ethical standards. Honesty, integrity, responsibility and respect for confidentiality are key to a successful working relationship between myself and my clients. I am happy to sign any non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement a client may require. I will not at any time or in any manner, either directly or indirectly, use for the personal benefit of The Little Typing Company or divulge, disclose or communicate in any manner any information that is proprietary to a client. I will protect such information and treat it as strictly confidential. This provision shall continue to be effective after the termination of any agreement.
