Please Note: My typing service does not usually include any editorial input, which I recommend you should think of as a separate job requiring editorial expertise. I do however correct spelling and punctuation during the re-typing. |
What it costs?
The cost really depends on the state of your manuscript. If it is clean and legible, I would charge no more than £3.50 per thousand words. If it is an extremely messy handwritten document or a hard-to-hear tape, then I may have to slow right down to decipher the words, and I will then have to charge more, perhaps as much as £10 per thousand words. You should note that tapes can be particularly time-consuming, so the quote will reflect the time required to do the job. However, most typing jobs will fall somewhere in the middle, but it's always a matter of costing the job in relation to its complexity.
All manuscript typing fees are payable in advance, once the quote has been provided. I will give you a completion date at the same time.
